Mac Danzig, a 27 year old vegan from Los Angeles, CA wins the popular " The Ultimate Fighter " season six title.

Looks like Mac may give a new meaning to " Powered by Tofu " !

In what anyone would have to deem a perfect performance, Mac Danzig finished Tommy Speer with a rear naked choke in the first round of the Ultimate Fighter 's co-main event. A game Speer seemed overmatched by the more experienced Danzig, although Speer had a definite size advantage at fight time. Both fighters had very positive things to say of each other after the fight.

17-4-1. I guess there goes the theory that you have to eat a bunch of meat to be strong, not to mention enviromental benefits from a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. This makes Mac Danzig our pick for MMA Fighter of the month.
